Care, slowly.
Everything we make is designed to age well. With a little attention, your pieces will outlast trends — softening, settling, becoming more yours over time.
Slow fashion
Bamboo & cotton jersey
- Hand-wash in cool water with a gentle, plant-based soap.
- Don't wring. Press water out between two towels, then lay flat to dry.
- Avoid direct sun while drying — natural fibres fade.
- Iron on low if you like, but a gentle steaming usually does it.
Organic cotton kimono & voile
- Hand-wash cold or use the delicate cycle in a mesh bag.
- Hang dry on a wooden hanger in shade.
- The kimono is meant to crinkle — embrace it. Iron only if you want a sharper finish.
Wool
- Dry-clean is gentlest, but you can also hand-wash with a wool-specific soap, in cool water.
- Never wring or twist. Roll in a towel, press, then dry flat away from heat.
- Store folded with cedar or lavender, not on hangers — wool stretches.
Between wears
Most pieces don't need washing every time. Air them out overnight, brush off light marks, and store loose. The fewer washes, the longer they last.

Storage
- Cool, dry, out of direct sunlight. The bathroom shelf is often the worst place.
- Always close the cap properly to keep formulas active.
- Most products have a use-within window after opening — check the small symbol on the back.
Application
- Less is more with active formulas — start with half the amount you think.
- Cleanse with cool or lukewarm water, never hot.
- Pat skin dry; rubbing aggravates the barrier.
Sustainability
Glass containers can be rinsed and recycled, or repurposed (we love seeing them used for spice jars). Labels peel off after a soak in warm water.
Repairs
Anything we made, we can usually mend. Email bykeikei@outlook.com with a photo of the issue and we'll quote a repair — many small fixes are free in the first year.
